Michael Myers has served as CEO of The Sports Marketer since its launch in 2009. 

A 20-year veteran of the Sports and Entertainment industry, Michael has spent roughly equal parts time working in corporate America (Nielsen Media, Live Nation Entertainment) and as an entrepreneur (BirdieBox, The Sports Marketer).

"I've been fortunate to work with some amazing people and I've hopefully learned from them... as well as the mountain sized pile of mistakes that I've made over the years. 


One thing that is unmistakable, however, is the need to have a team with a strong work ethic, empathy and expertise. If you have that, you're capable of supporting emerging brands as well as ones that are in the dominant position."


Myers loves spending time with his 16 year old Lab/Border Collie named "Duke" that could once catch a frisbee at full sprint/leap, and now catches Z's like the champion he is.
